There are many shopping centres in Sandringham-Wellington, including the Trinity Common Mall (Highway 410 and Bovaird Drive), which features favourite retailers such as Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Claire’s, Staples, Pier 1 Imports, and many others, as well as a selection of restaurants. Other shopping plazas can be found along major roads such as Airport Road and Bovaird Road.
Schools:
There are many daycares, elementary schools, and secondary schools in Sandringham-Wellington, with educational options including public school, Catholic school, and private schooling.  Elementary schools in this area include Fernforest Public School (275 Fernforest Drive), Hewson Elementary Public School (235 Father Tobin Road), and Robert J. Lee Public School (160 Mountainash Road). Secondary Schools include St. Marguerite D’youville Secondary School (10815 Dixie Road) and Harold M. Brathwaite Secondary School (415 Great Lakes Drive).
Entertainment:
There is plenty to do near Sandringham-Wellington for outdoor enthusiasts. The Heart Lake Conservation Area is located just on the other side of Heart Lake Road. This scenic wooded conservation area, named for the heart-shaped lake at its centre, features over eight kilometres of hiking trails. The lake is stocked with farm-raised rainbow trout, and boat rentals are also available.  For golfers, the Turnberry Golf Club is located near the southwest corner of Sandringham-Wellington. The course is short but challenging and attractive, and the club features a golf shop and is available for rentals.
